A Fools Tale

- Michael Sound

Ah! Gather close, ye drifty heads,

the Fool’s got yarns and tangled threads!

For every tale the mortals tell

is stitched into the dancer's spell.

A whisper here, a boast, a sigh,

and lo! the moon falls from the sky!

A hero’s name, a lover’s lie,

and mountains walk, and oceans cry.

The world’s not built of stone and clay,

but stories told in jest and play.

Each fable flung from lips of fire

becomes a beam in fate’s own spire.

So mind thy myths, and choose them well,

for what we speak becomes the spell.

The Fool just laughs, cap tipped askew,

"None know what’s false, nor what is true.

But weave enough, and you shall see, the tale becomes reality."
